"Pool was nice. The rest is garbage. The food is reused day to day hardly any alcohol choices no juice limited water none in room no bottle water. You cannot get around easy steep terrain. I got food poisoning so bad that I did not enjoy my trip. Throwing up and the other end dry heaves horrible waisted all this money for truly the worst vacation ever. Why on earth do you sell as an all inclusive. There was hardly anything to eat and the food just sat out all day in the heat."

"From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the staff were super unfriendly & not helpful. They did not make eye contact. We asked several staff members where we could find towels & they could only point towards the massive pool. The beach is completely full of people selling things like nothing I’ve ever seen & the vendors are very aggressive in soliciting you. "We stayed in a “Superior Room” with a volcano view. The resort is close to everything,, a 10-15 minute drive to downtown area. Also not “too bad” of a drive at night back to the resort from downtown at night. The room was large and spacious. Air conditioning was great. Pools and hot springs were awesome. Ford and drinks were good. A few sections of the resort were not maintained and underused. Such as the lagoon area. Also, a lookout tower was closed off. It would have been nice to take a kayak...

"Estuvo precioso una gran experiencia, solo nos quedamos 2 noches y tuvimos un problema con el booking de un restaurante pero de verdad fenomenal, y para sellar con broche de oro, cuando íbamos saliendo del cuarto el muchacho de transporte nos vio y se bajo a ayudarnos a sacar más maletas nos llevó a los carros y nos llevó a la recepción muy buen servicio el de Michael el chófer."

"This is a gorgeous property but not as all inclusive as you'd think for the price.They try to get you to a timeshare meeting when you arrive but they aren't too pushy. Then, as you go, you find out there are a lot of "yes, buts". For example, we asked a bartender if we could take a bottle of wine back to our room with us and he said yes just call room service. So we did and they said the limit was 2 glasses and it would be a 45 minute wait. The staff were friendly but you had to pay mucho out of...

"Très bon tout inclus. En résumé dans un tout inclus, je ne m’attends jamais à la perfection, mais une prestation de bonne qualité. Ce que l’établissement a offert. Bon choix de restaurant (asiatique notre préféré). La majorité du personnel était parfait (un peu inconstant le week-ends). Faire attention à l’entretien (le tout blanc demande plus d’entretien). Samara est juste parfaite."

"The property was just beautiful, so green and lush. Our room was very nice with a great patio facing Arenal Volcano. Fun swimming pool and beautiful thermal pools. Food was fantastic. Staff was awesome"

Had to walk back to get keys that worked then the door latch on the inside caught so we had to Jimmy it open. The rooms were not well maintained and the doors did not seal so bugs would crawl in the room and we would have to kill at least 5 bugs a day.
