"Overall it's a pretty nice place with a decent location. Buffet food is the exact same as the restaurant, so it honestly not worth the hassle of booking them unless you want the hibachi experience. The place is showing its wear with peeling paint, swollen doors and trim, discoloration of interior finishes. Air-conditioned rooms only, so restaurants are hot to sit in. The biggest complaint is the concierge don't leave you alone even after you ask them too. Like time share vultures, they...

"The hotel needs a repair as soon as possible. The shower was terrible. La llave del lavamanos se caia. Las habitaciones no las limpian todos los dias. No habia gel de bano. El buffe estaba horrible, la comida malisima y cero variedad en el restaurante Ipanema. Definitivamente esta sobre valorado en el precio. Nunca mas iria a esa hotel."

"The property was too big for my taste and very crowded. Difficult to get beach chair if you go after 10am. All the restaurants were so expensive including tax and service charge. The resort has a fee on top of that. The beach was immaculate, crystal clear water. The staff is helpful considering the size of the place, but housekeeping did not clean my room for two out of three days I stayed there. People seem to enjoy it, but not my cup of tea."
