"We had an amazing stay at the Copamarina Beach resort! We stayed at the Hyatt Regency near San Juan for the first several nights of our trip and then traveled across the island for a quick visit (and snorkel) in Rincon and then down to Guanica to the Copamarina. This resort has a different "vibe" (as my teenagers put it) than the Hyatt - more relaxing, quiet, much more focus on the beach and accessing the ocean, although the kids also loved the pools. We loved renting the paddleboards to use...

"This hotel keeps the party going, music in the lobby, at the pool all over the hotel, night club is awesome. The pool service is top notch! Drinks are tasty and food is delicious. The bartenders are attentive. Beach is beautiful and clean, we felt safe staying at la concha. "

"We loved this hotel for our honeymoon! The pools and beach setups are amazing- very good service from setting up chairs and serving food/drinks. The lobby bars and casino are fun at night, it’s very lively on the weekend! We ate at the beach club and Cana and really enjoyed everything we had. I agree with other reviewers that the rooms could use an update. The hotel also touts its eco friendliness but doesn’t have anywhere collecting compostable material (so they just go to the regular garbage)....

"It breaks my heart to say it is hard to pay for a place to stay that doesn’t meet your standards. When you are in the service industry, your business is to service with a smile. When you approach a bar and the staff are not able to acknowledge your presence, it becomes uncomfortable and unwelcoming."
