Santa Marta at MuchoSur

We had a great stay at MuchoSur Hotel in Santa Marta! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel is clean and has a nice, relaxed ambiance with lots of beautiful plants that give it a fresh and cozy feel. The location is excellent — it’s very close to the Santa Marta historical center, so it’s easy to walk around and explore the city. Moscu, the hotel’s friendly dog adds a really nice, homey touch to the place. The rooftop pool area is also very nice — perfect for relaxing, enjoying the view, and cooling off after a day in the city. Overall, MuchoSur Hotel is a great option in Santa Marta for travelers looking for a friendly atmosphere, good location, and a pleasant stay surrounded by greenery

The staff is extremely kind, professional and helpful. The room was cozy, quiet, with air conditioning and a comfortable bed. Wifi always available. Clean, comfortable stay with friendly staff

We stayed one night and enjoyed the large, minimalist room — spotless and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. The double bed was very comfortable, though given the size of the room, having queen beds in all rooms might be a nice improvement. The Wi-Fi was superfast and reliable throughout our stay, which was great for getting some work done. The air conditioning kept the room cool in the tropical heat. The shower pressure was good, and the water temperature was warm, but didn't need to be hot given the warm outside weather. Check-in was easy and welcoming, with very friendly and personable staff who made us feel comfortable right away. We appreciated using the common area to work both before check-in and after checkout, which was very convenient as we waited for our airport transfer. The property felt very safe, with 24-hour staff presence. It was also nice to see a dog on the property, which added a friendly, pet-friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was simple and basic, but still appreciated. We didn't use the pool or spa, but the pool area looked inviting and well-maintained. The location was excellent — just a short, walkable distance to the beach front and local cafes. The airport bus stop is only about 50 metres away and offers a very affordable transfer option to the airport (COP 2,700 per person), much cheaper than a taxi.

A estadia foi ótima, o quarto super confortável e as dependências do hotel também. A região é central então tomar um pouco de cuidado à noite, mas o recepcionista nos deu todas as dicas para circular pela região. As pessoas que trabalham lá são muito simpáticas e solicitas.
