Our family stayed here after 7 nights of camping. The showers had excellent water pressure, and we loved being able to do our laundry in our unit. We walked to the Liberty Bell and Geno's for cheesesteaks. Parking in the garage near Target was easy, and we left our car for two days and used public transportation. Unit was very clean and very comfortable. We did have an issue was a neighbor yelling and pounding on a door, and the property manager came and checked on us and solved their issue. The Sonder app is awesome, and we loved being able to unlock the door with our phone. Finally, you can get great skyline pictures from the rooftop.
I love Sonder. This is the second city that I have chosen this brand. What I didn’t like about this location was the lack of parking There was no parking. You literally have to scour the neighborhood to find parking and on top of that, it’s two hour parking Monday thru Saturday. If you have plans on enjoying your stay inside, be ready to set an alarm for a reminder to find new parking every two hours. Also when we came back, the door was wide open. Upon leaving, the cleaning lady was in the hallway. Thankfully nothing was missing. We did not request any service so she should not have been in there. She could have at least shut the door.
good space for 2 adults, very clean, high end finishes and furniture, full kitchen appliances. Especially, liked the rooftop patio where we ate our made dinners and enjoyed the Philidelphia downtown skyline.
I am still here so hopefully I still feel the same when I leave but this place is beautiful. Rooftop amazing. I found all day parking a few steps from the building and it’s close to all things downtown. I am a Philadelphian and got this place just as a little getaway. I’ll definitely be back next month!
The apartment was very clean and just right for what we were needing/wanting. It seemed to be fairly in the middle of all the sights that we captured while in Philly. Since it was on a major road (not a side rode in the city), it was pretty load with car honking etc. I noticed other Sonder properties that seemed to be in quieter neighborhoods that I would likely look into if we returned.
Perfect stay. We stayed 2 nights with our toddler. Checkin was super straightforward. Apartment was clean and comfortable. The area was very walkable and we felt very safe. I would absolutely repeat our stay here
The property was great!!! But I am going to qualify my statement with "If it meets your needs". Price was great for a new 1 bedroom with a full kitchen. Price versus the building was spectacular! Only caveat was parking. Parking is difficult depending on your needs, but can possible work it. The apartments are very modern and you can cook because you get a full kitchen. Parking requires a residential permit from 8am until late evening except Sundays. If you do not have a permit, you can park for 2 hours. Hence since 2 hour parking limit for non residents coupled with a required permit from 8 am gives you until 10 am to check out and move your car (8 am plus 2 hours). I know this because I live in a similar area. I would definitely book this property again if I can work the situation with parking. If your an early riser and like to head out for the day then NP. This place is 5 stars if you can work with a few inconviennces.
It was within blocks of the event we came to visit. Parking was not provided but we found it on the street right outside the door and we were fine all weekend. There are many restaurants in the area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for our daughter’s graduation from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Sonder was in walking distance to the ceremony venue as well as the restaurant we celebrated at afterwards. The clean, comfortable & up to date apt style made the perfect setting for a quick brunch for a small gathering of family before the ceremony. It also had great views of the city! We loved it!
Our hotel was very nice and spacious. The noise is a bit much. The room could use some updates and had minor cosmetic issues but overall it was pretty good. Beware that the closest parking garage was $30 a day!!
Very nice sunny apartment. Comfy beds, 2 full bathrooms. I would stay again. We heard an intermittent beeping sound and couldn't figure out what it was. We called the number and got a person right away happy to help us. We figured out the refrigerator door had to slide into a slot to close properly and the noise was an alarm. The neighborhood was lovely. We had terrific cheesesteaks within walking distance from Angelo's. My only complaint is that we needed the pullout couch, it was broken and would not pull out. My son slept on the couch and said it was comfortable.
The condo was spacious and the building immaculately clean. All the employees that we interacted with were extremely kind and helpful. The roof deck was a lovely touch.
If you are on the Bainbridge side of the building, just be aware that there is a gas station across the street that can be a little noisy at night, but you are in a city so that is to be expected.
Easy walking distance from many key sites find half a block from the subway entrance.
