Nice place but basic.

Nice apartment very well located. Quite basic everything and somewhat poorly maintained. It's business run in a way where there's not a lot of support outside business hours. Overall is not a bad place if it works from the start but don't expect to much to solve any issues you might have quickly. It's also very noisy around.

Nie apartment that needs better care.

Very nice apartment that could benefit from a little more care. As most of these properties these days, they are extremely basic and poorly mantained as they are services as a high rotation business. One of the beds (a very cheap one) was disassembled and the matress was sinking. Took me a while to figure out the hot water temperature. Wifi password given was wrong. Comunication with the property management to sort the password was not answered until next day. I didn't even bother with the other issues. This was an extension to an ongoing booking. Also took them more than a day to confirm that I booked the same apartment and did not need to move. It seems they only answer (slowly) during business hours, so if you have an issue, it might not be sorted quickly.

Lovely stay. Great location. Easy check in. Contacting flat management difficult. Asked via hotels.com for a baby crib, and as it was not in the flat we texted to the provided number and never heard back. Mouse traps in every room also a bit uncool.

Lovely hot flat

Lovely flat at great location. However, the flat is unusually hot, there is still active heating during the hot summer season, which makes it especially in the bathroom nearly unbearable. Found a sweet baby mouse and a big bug, but otherwise very clean.

Nice apartment

The apartment was nice and big. The neighbourhood is lively but quite loud during the evenings/nights. Big pros: The apartment has a big fridge (with a freezer), washing machine, dishwasher and a bathtub. Camden town station is close by. Cons: it gets warm when its hot outside and the sofa bed is verrrry uncomfortable. Wouldnt want to sleep there again. All in all nice stay though

No access on arrival

No key in the safe on arrival and no way to contact the apartment. The hotels.com team were helpful but it was very stressful and we were an hour late for our event because we could not get into the apartment or reach them.

Unfortunately no air-con and although property had fans, these had little effect. Accepted the weather was unusually hot, however windows could be barely opened to cool the place down or provide ventilation. Very noisy too, not the best soundproofing. Property was well equipped and a good size though. Arriving and only having one key on-site also not ideal.

The worst experience i have had!!! They have given the wrong code to the main door which meant we was stuck outside the building for 1hr without any help from the host as there was no number to contact. So we was waiting around in the cold with 4 young kids untill someone came out the building to help us in only then to find out the code was completely wrong which made me so angry. Now if no one came out we wouldnt of been able to get in at all.

My name is Ashley and I recently came back from a trip and I absolutely loved my stay at Camden Lock! It had everything me and my family needed for a week stay such as a washing machine, vacuum and entire kitchen with plates, pots and pans, and utensils. It also has a microwave, toaster, pot to boil water! It was so perfect! It does have an elevator (they call it lift). And the instructions were so easy to follow plus their communication was amazing! I needed toilet paper and it arrived at my door within an hour! I cannot say such good things about this place! When I go back to London, I will stay there for sure! If you have any questions or concerns I’m here to answer! It is so safe! The room also had a deck so my family and I were able to enjoy the fresh air from our room! Everything is in walking distance even the train is about 2 min walk! You should def stay there when visiting London! Thank you to all the staff that kept in constant communication with us and made sure we had everything we needed! Lovereeeee this place!!!! I will never forget it!

The property is situated in a very active and young environment with lots of opportunities for shopping, dining and sightseeing. The appartement is nice and very spacious, the beds are comfortable. Communication does not exist. Except for a mail with instructions how to enter the unit, there is no communication. Nobody picks up the phone, I have asked for a proper invoice with the name of my company on it, no response! The help desk of Expedia does not help either and does not understand the most simple questions.
