"It was a lovely old house in Miraflores. It was old therefore, not modern but that added to the beauty. It was clean however , although as in some places in Peru, I have learned that you cannot put toilet paper in the toilet. This honesty is further out form the other home stays, closer to where they originally were located which means you get less tour boats driving past and privacy. "This was a very relaxing place to stay and we were met with lots of kindness. Some exceptional staff members were Julio, Julio Cesar, Anderson, Jonathan and Ykiku, but really everyone was lovely and welcoming. It was very easy to book excursions through them (we booked the boat tour to Ballestas Island through WhatsApp). "We stayed here before and after our Inca Trail hike. We really enjoyed the ambiance of this hotel as it is comprised of only a few rooms. Therefore, it is quiet and relaxing. We also enjoyed our host and owner as he was great at conversation so there was never a dull moment. He prepares breakfast for you in the morning (which is filling and nutritious). The hotel is only about a 10 minute walk to the plaza de armas so you are close to the action. "

"Very safe, interior access via a courtyard. Very friendly staff, clean rooms. Walk to the city square in minutes. They also have a upper terrace where motorcycles can be stored if you are trekking on a bike that's locked up. I would definitely stay here again."
