"Horrible experience at Atlantis Royal, resort is highly overpriced and overrated as you mostly know. Check-in was delayed by 2 hours and they gave us only $75 resort credit for the “inconvenience”. Front desk was super rude and lack of empathy, we called them multiple times for not having enough towels and toiletries and they either ignored our requests (hint, housekeeping department is a disaster) or their response was always late making us loose valuable vacation time unnecessarily. "The hotel and all the different choices of food were great. The only thing that I didn’t like is some of the staff wasn’t very very friendly, especially if they didn’t speak English. They were either just rude or walked away and never answered your question what I didn’t like, but got used to was the room to smell very very damp when you walk in, but after the first day, I was OK with the smell."

"Amazing respect for an affordable price! The beach did have tons of sargassum so we stuck to the pools but it was sargassum season so no fault of the resorts! They were out actively cleaning it everyday. Beautiful resort with pretty good food. We went for a girls trip and had a great time"

"Our room had seen better days, the towel rack was crooked and clearly been patched multiple times, the faucet calking caused the knobs to spin, the shower attachment had a hole in it so water blew out the back and our table didn't work. The room was very clean and the staff were super nice and I loved the location of our room. I wish there were better gluten free options around the pool areas as everything was contaminated but the restaurants were great with allergies and I didn't have any...

"Property is very clean. The room is well maintained daily. The food is excellent at the various restaurants. The issue I had with the resort is the beach. Not able to enjoy as it is very rocky. The privilege section did not appear to have the same issue as the guest were able swim unobstructed. The pools were great."

We we would be there 10 minutes and others would walk up and get served immediately (iykyk). The taxi service was expensive. It was $20 per person to go across the street. Best food was the food by the pool at lunch"
