The check in process is 100% self service through a kiosk. It’s not very user friendly and when you call for assistance the staff is not very nice or helpful. The air conditioner in our apartment wasn’t working when we checked in, they told us we needed to wait until the next day for someone to come look at it.

Good Apartment, Terrible Customer Service

We made a reservation for a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment 10 months ahead of our trip. On the day of arrival, they sent an email at 10:45 AM informing me the apartment was not available, and they had to move us to another location, 20 mins walking distance from their Sagrada Familia building. We ended up taking a taxi to the new location. We couldn't get into the apartment building, and no one was in the office when we arrived in the mid afternoon. There was no phone at the entrance of the building. I ended up having to make a long distance call to their main office. After talking to a lady on the phone and waiting for over 30 minutes on the street, someone finally came to let us in. The apartment we ended up staying in only had 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, not the 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, with SPA access. I called back, tried to talk to their manager about this, but he was not available. I finally got a phone number for the manager and talked to him on our last day of stay. He told me to sent an email for the complaint. I did so, and no one has replied in over a week. I made the reservation through Expedia, and they sent emails about this on my behalf with no success. All I asked for is a refund for the price difference between the two apartments, and the taxi charge, which is more than fair. This facility could have been great if they staff it accordingly. Key system and technology still can't replace true customer service.

Nice apartment very central

Great apartment, close to other areas via the fantastic Metro service. Swimming pools only to be used by 17 years and older not ideal for the younger family's--not very clear when booking. Terrible check and check out procedure, pretty much un-manned reception area, tried to book a locker on the last day before flight pretty impossible to get, gave up in the end as no help given.

Good location

If you are visiting Barcelona but do not want the hussle of city centre this is for you. Good metro links within 5m walk and great for Sagrada Familia also several good restaurants near by. Room was a slight disappointment, it took two hours to get in as the staff were at lunch. We were told (Saturday) on arrival our shower screen was broken but it would be replaced Monday, one week later still not replaced. Rooms were nicely cleaned every day but no fresh toiletries so we had to buy some from supermarket opposite. High speed Wi-fi did not work. Other than above minor issues we had a pleasant stay.

Hübsches Appartement in Metro Nähe

Wir hatten ein tolle Zeit und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt von der ersten Sekunde an. Auf der Dachterrasse haben wir auch ein paar entspannte Momente verbracht. Mit Blick auf die Sagrada familia! Sehr schön. Die Metro war auch gleich vor der Tür und zahlreiche Restaurants, kleine Cafés und Supermärkte. Tolle Wohnung zum Wohlfühlen mit doch einigen Gebrauchsspuren! Die könnten mal überholt werden.

Spacious appartement for 4 persons, SPA facilities

The hotel room was perfect , modern, spacious, quiet, air-conditioned.Location was excellent. The strange thing was that the sliding doors from the street normally opened automatically, but one day they didn't. Then someone told us the the card needs to be swiped in above of your head. We wished that there was instructions /information about the hotel on the table, but there was nothing.There was not mentioned where the breakfst is served either.The safety box was out-of-order.

Great stay, lovely apartment, friendly staff.

Stayed here with 5 friends. rooms were great, easily sleeps 6 people. Very well fitted out - a home away from home. Finished to a high standard. Good location, near a metro station, 30 mins walk to the beach, lots of nice bars and cafes near by. Supermarket across the road too which is very handy.

The hotel was very nice. However, they did not have washcloths. It was explained by service that people use spongies there but they didn't give them. I loved the three bedroom unit we had.

Had a nice stay overall.

The hotel was easy to get to from Metro. We had a nice apartment with comfortable bedding. There were just some minor problems with the room. The shower door leaked and the room safe was broken. My biggest complaint was that there were no face/wash cloths. The complimentary wine was a nice touch.

Horreur absolue !!! A l'arrivée, on nous explique que l'hôtel ne peut nous accueillir et nous sommes transférées dans un autre hôtel Castro en banlieue dans un quartier sinistre. La propreté était déplorable, tout était vieux et en mauvais état. Pas de réception ni aucun service dans le nouvel hôtel. Pour mémoire nous avions payé 500 euros la nuit pour un hôtel avec Spa et services, a 200 mètres de la Sagra Familia. Bref, une arnaque totale, une escroquerie !!! A éviter à tout prix.

Do not go to Castro apartments

A terrible experience 1. At no point on the website did it state that children cannot use the pool. This was only shown once I had booked and paid in full. I would never have booked if this was known up front. 2. There are many other families that have experienced the same disappointment in the time we have been here. 3. We could not get in to the apartment until 4pm despite being told it was ready at 3.30pm and that it was possible. The only person willing to help us was the cleaner. 4. The light outside the apartment flickered and made a noise for two day before being replaced. 5. The shower does not work properly. It is either very cold or burning hot. No in between. This is not safe. 6. We were not told nor is it written on the website that breakfast and the spa are not part of the apartments and that you have to go outside to access. 7. Breakfast Day 1: There was nothing but 'left over' meat and rotten fruit on offer. No offer of anything else was made to us. I had to ask 4 times for something to eat. Day 3: We were told that breakfast is available from 8am. I went in at 8.30am and told that it is closed until after 9am. I was not offered anything to take with me. Rude and unhelpful staff that seem to make rules up to suit themselves. 9. Man in a deep sleep at reception. Is this supposed to be reception staff? Utterly unprofessional. 10. We can here the bathrooms used in every apartment. There is no sound proofing.

Nice hotel close to la segrada

Perfect for families. Grocery store a cross the hotel for convenience. Accommodation complete. The gym and swimming pool for 16 and older.

Stor og godt beliggende hotellejlighed

Stor lækker lejlighed, men fitness, spa og svømming pool foregår i en tilstødende privat klub med en meget striks administration af alderskravet på 17 år. Man skal identificere sig med pas og 16,5 år er desværre ikke 17:-). Gratis wifi der er inkluderet er så langsomt(0,5 MB/Sek) at man er tvunget til at betale for en opgradering af wifi-forbindelsen, hvis man ønsker at være online.

Zwembad alleen voor 17+

Het is een mooi, schoon, ruim appartement vlakbij 2 metrostations. Het enige wat tegenviel (met een gezin met 3 kinderen) was dat het zwembad alleen toegankelijk is vanaf 17 jaar.
