Lovely country pub atmosphere with great staff. Birder friendly. Kitchen Staff kindly made up take out breakfast for our team’s birding departure at 06:00. Authentic food. Good safari vibe. Highly recommended. My rating, a 9.

The rooms are in the process of being upgraded and still need finishing touches such as a chair. Food was good and staff really went out of their way to provide excellent service

A wonderful weekend in Wakkerstroom

The Wakkerstroom Country Inn is a fantastic place to stay for a weekend of awesome birding The room was clean and comfortable and the new management with Manager Nkosi were great.

disgustedly over charged for room.

Never felt so ripped off. I have stayed in places a third off the price, that was as good, if not better. We got locked out of the property, they gave us the wrong key. another geust had to open for us, no staff there to assist. the room door was clic clacking the whole night. waitress at breakfast had a flu, made it known by sucking her snot everytime she came into the dinning room. Bath tub is for midgets. No WiFi, No shower. Electrical wires for television and all, was a plug with a plug on a plug with another plug plugged into the bunch of plugs. room window was right in view neighbour. i do not mind staying in a no star grading, but please don't charge me a four star price if you would not even make a rating. I will never stay there again.
