"The location is great the rooms were nice and clean. Only things that need work is breakfast could be better and it’s the season for ants so we seen a few but no big deal we go camping but other guess don’t wanna deal with that"

"The rooms reeked of smoke when they were supposed to be nonsmoking. Requested first floor because of 85 year-old disabled lady and was told it couldn’t be changed. Lobby at check-in reeks of smoke- employees smoking right outside of where you enter the lobby. Trashy."

"Very nice 1830's hotel. Every staff member encountered were friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable. We had dinner in the hotel tavern downstairs. The food was tasty and prepared perfectly. Nice ambiance. Even though waitstaff were very busy with a full house, they maintained a friendly attitude. Very nice alternative to typical hotel chains. We're glad we visited here. "
