Bed bugs

Horrible experience - after staying here I was completely covered in bedbug bites. I was also rung up by one staff member after I checked out yelling down the phone at me accusing me of not paying when I had booked and paid online. The other staff member who checked me on was very nice. The bathrooms were absolutely filthy.

Dirty room and smelly

There is someone acutllybliving in this room for 4 bunk bad and smell like pee and dirty ,no fan,no towel,and break fast i wont touch it .just bread and jam they call free breakfast ..funny!??

nice location, bloody sheets and bed bugs

Was greeted by the musky smell of damp carpets, went to check in at the reception, and got a key for our room on the second floor. Walked in to check the conditions, found blood on the sheets, a telltale sign of possible presence of bed bugs, so of course we check the area. It didn't take long (maybe 10 seconds) to find the first bedbug along the wall behind the bunk bed. As someone who has had their life uprooted for the better part of a year due to a bed bug infestation in new york city (half my belongings are still wrapped in plastic till we can be sure the bed bugs are all fully dead), I know what is and what is not a bed bug. These were bed bugs, fully grown adults who have recently fed. We took pictures, exited in a hurry, and brought it up with reception. Our booking was cancelled without much of a fuss, but it was very clear this was not a surprise and nothing will be done about it anytime soon. You may be able to get a room here for cheap, but you run a (very) large risk that you will not only get plagued with the bites of bed bugs who will feed on your skin at night in large numbers, but will infect your belongings and turn your life upside down when you bring them back with you to wherever you go next. Bed bugs are a big deal, and a hostel that won't bother to replace bloody sheets for new guests is a hostel that you can trust will not deal with an infestation problem, leaving you, the guest, with the consequences.

NEVER stay here

It was the worst stay ever. The room wasn’t clean, we found bed bugs and got moved to another room, where there was bed bugs as well. The kitchen was disgusting and they left the garbage inside for days. We were there for 3 days and the toilets were not cleaned at all. There was hair everywhere and a really bad smell. Your recommendation is to NEVER stay there. It’s the most disgusting hostel I have ever seen.

Bondi shores

Lors de mon arrivée, j'ai prévenu le personnel de l'hôtel que j'allais arriver après les horaires de réception. Il a été réactif et a pu y remédier: j'avais alors une bonne impression. Cependant jai vite déchanté lorsque je suis entré dans ma chambre (4 personnes): elle était vieillotte, des chaussures traînaient partout, lit pas confortable. Cela pouvait encore passer. Ce qui m'a achevé à été lorsque j'ai vu des cafards se balader sur la moquette, et des punaises de lits sur l'oreiller et le plafond. Cela est dommage, car l'hôtel à un potentiel, gâché par ce manque d'entretien. Pour l'heure je déconseille l'endroit, jusqu'à ce qu'il soit remis à neuf.

I didn’t stay for long, bedbugs on me, no refund

Terrible!!!!!! I want my money back as I didn’t stay for the whole night! The lady refused to give me my money back and I had to take another 60 dollar taxi ride on my way to my friends house. I lodged a complaint via fair trading and I have pictures of the bedbugs, they were everywhere!!!!

This place should be shut down! Horrid!

This place is INFESTED with bedbugs. My boyfriend and I woke up covered head to toe in bites and also saw them crawling around. Sheets were dirty. Rooms smelt of smoke, garbage and everything in between. Bathrooms are disgusting. Wifi sucks. We only stayed here one night but it was enough to make us want to get this place shut down. We complained about the bed bugs and they said "oh ya.. sometimes that happens.." Avoid this place at all costs! I don't even know why this place is still in business.

Rather quiet (at least during winter season)

A walking distance from bondi and several restaurants and cafés. Easy but a bit long way with a bus to the cbd. Friendly staff.

ボンダイビーチがすぐ側

タウンホールまでもバスで30分程度でいけ、ホテル自体は好き嫌いが別れるタイプだと思います。あとは、ルームメイト次第ですね。

Dirty

Needs a complete overhaul The carpets are so old and sticky in places My 'apparently' clean bedding was riddled with other people's hair. This place really needs a total clean up and shouldn't be running in the state it is in. Health hazard

Good stay at an average hostel

Staff were friendly and approachable. Decent room with fridge and fan. Double bed mattress was way too thin and not comfortable but the pillows were great. Decent location above a pub which was worth a visit. Cleanliness was poor and my bed sheet had to be changed but it was done promptly with no problems and I was able to stay an extra night too.

This place needs to be delisted, demolished.

This would have to be the worst possible place to stay. 3 world countries are better then Bondi Shores.. Kitchen is a Health hazard and how someone has not come down with food poisoning is beyond me. Toilets are discussing, showers are in sanitary, beds are lumpy, common Ares or the lack of are poorly equipped, the state of the pod chairs on the top of the stairs landing are either badly soiled or broken.. Remove this business from your site as its giving you a bad name..

Central location - easy access to transport

Didn't feel clean the whole time I was there - showers and kitchen were gross

Cheap but that's pretty much it

Very small kitchen, never saw anyone cleaning anything (rooms, kitchen, bathrooms...) in a week time. But if you don't care, very convenient for the beach.

Close to the beach and that's about it.

Our double room was absolutely disappointing. The bed was uncomfortable, the room was dirty and it gave us the feeling that we didn't want to stay there for longer than a minute. We ended up going to a hotel. Would not recommend it at all

Hell Hole

The room smelt, the bed sloped to one side, the choice for breakfast was cheap cornflakes or toast with only one jam to choose from and no butter. Things stored in the stair well. We had to drive around for half an hour to find a parking spot. Nearly ended up two blocks away. No air conditioning in the room and no fans to help cool down in a very hot week. Last time I will be going to a hostel because of it. We only needed to sleep there but it was the worst night I've ever had. We have stayed in motels and hotels all over the world but this was the worst.

worst I ever been to BEDBUGS

everything was bad. The staff were very hasty and wanted us to sign papers with payments but we paid before we got there. It was really filthy, the room, the corridors and the kitchen. The bathrooms were really disgusting!! and worst of all was the bedbugs
