Had a great time at the Ballastone. It is so convenient to downtown shops and dining. You can catch the trolley right there, and the staff was so friendly. My wife and I very much enjoyed the experience.

Great place, great people!

Great central location, wonderful accommodations. Catherine was especially helpful and friendly! Nice wine and cheese happy hour on Friday. Fresh pastries, muffins and fruit in the morning!

Worn but comfortable

Very nice stay. Oglethorpe is a busy street, but room was quiet. Ballastone is a little worn, but still nice. Great breakfast!

Beautiful old house , breakfast is amazing! Ruby makes homemade muffins and other pastries that are out of this world ! We definitely would stay here again, and would recommend it to others! The location is also fabulous. You can walk to just about everywhere in the historic district. Lacon , the concierge was so sweet and helpful !!

Outstanding staff!

Room was very comfortable, clean with a very at home feeling. Manager and the entire staff was outstanding. Our flight was delayed and we arrived late however they were very accommodating and took all the stress away. Highly reommended.

Beautiful Ballastone

The Ballastone is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. The kindness and friendliness of the staff was second to none. Katherine in particularly could not have done more for us. Her expertise and knowledge of the area far outweighs any guide book. The rooms of the hotel are exquisitely furnished and are in keeping with the style of a building of the era.

I was traveling alone and had never been to Savannah before. Catherine and Christine were wonderful hosts and full of great information about historical Savannah. Jackie one of the house maids was wonderful to me as well i enjoyed my conversation with her and admired her 26 year loyalty to The Ballastone. thank you all for a wonderful stay!
