"The toilet was on the outside of the room which i was not expecting when i had booked a room with a private bathroom. The shower also steps onto carpet and there is no exhaust fan and no way to open the window which makes room quite humid when trying to straighten hair. Also concerned also the shower had some mould in it. The no exhaust fan with the shower being in the room could lead to mould problems in the future. Otherwise okay"

"A very friendly welcome when we arrived. The property is in a quiet street within easy walk of the Hoe, Barbican and the city centre. Parking can be difficult, but there were spaces when we arrived. Instructions are sent by the owner after booking, but it basically involves a pass for some free parking and paying for the rest. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a great nights sleep. There is a shower in the ensuite, but as this is only protected by a shower curtain, the floor...

"We were very impressed with this guesthouse - the room we had (double en-suite) was spotless and at the back of the house so very quiet. Bit dissapointed that parking was extra but at £2 a day its not a lot more. 20-30 minute walk down to the waterfront on pedestrianised streets so good location for what we wanted. Would definitely go again"

"For the price that you pay, this hotel provides a good level of accomodation with a great breakfast and super staff. There is a lounge and bar. Brilliant location near the sea and easy to walk to Barbican. We will be back next year Ken !! This time with more volleyball players who are keen to stay"
