Die Anlage ist wunderschön in die Natur Eingebettet. Und der Gastgeber und sein Team sind sehr und das Wohl der Gäste besorgt und gehen rasch auf alle Wünsche ein. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
Die Lodge liegt schön, der Service ist fantastisch, das Essen hervorragend.
Dennoch, und das ist echt schade, gibts nicht mehr Sterne weil.
1. Im Zimmer die Türen klemmten und der Schrank seeehr alt war. Das könnte man mit wenig Aufwand verbessern.
2. Der Sundowner drive mit einem geradezu prähistorischen Vehicel der Marke Ford durchgeführt wurde, das die Grenzen seine Lebenserwartung weit überschritten hatte, laut war, stank, angeschoben werden musste (mehrfach) und dann noch ein Rad verlor so dass wir die letzten 1.5 km bei Nacht im Busch zu Fuss zurücklegen mussten.
Das ist schade und sollte so nicht vorkommen. Insbesonder weil es den fantastischen Gesamteindruck und die tolle Leistung des gesamten Personals negativ beeinflusst. Für uns war es ok, da gut zu Fuss aber es gibt eben auch andere Gäste.
Wir waren 2 Tage auf der Guest Farm und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Frühstückbuffet war super mit allem was man braucht, Eier, Müsli, Wurstwaren etc.
Der Chef hat uns persönlich Tips gegeben, für Ausflüge, Land. Es gibt eine schöne Bar, Pool und der Garten/Anlage ist sehr schön gemacht.
Die Guest Farm ist ziemlich abgelegen, aber das wussten wir vorher. Leider wurden kein Game Drives angeboten, da der Wagen kaputt war. In der ersten Nacht waren wir die einzigen Gäste. Das war ok, aber dass, sobald wir in unserer Zimmer gegangen sind, die komplette Außenbeleuchtung ausgeschaltet wurde, war dann doch ziemlich unheimlich.
