Clean hotel and better quality than Super 8 hotels in the United States. Coffee and croisants were available in the lobby everyday. Good location within walking distance of the Munchen Laim train station - me, my wife, and four kids walked with our backpacks and carry-ons to and from the Laim train station.

Good stay in Munich

We enjoyed our stay at this Super 8. The rooms were clean - the bedding comfortable - good quality towels in the bathroom. The property is conveniently located for transportation. We enjoyed free coffee and tea offered in the lobby. Some reviewers complained about the small rooms, but the size of the rooms is clearly stated in the hotel description.

Nice staff, good breakfast and a reasonable location 10 mins from S Bahn. Oh the downside the WiFi wasn't very good and the room was too warm and stuffy, there was no way to cool the room apart from the small amount that you could open the window, which didn't do much and meant you could hear outside noise.

Overall I’d recommend

Superb location if you want to jump on the trains. Walking distance with luggage. Clean place and quite. Small room and not great for couples. Two small beds pushed together and a silly door for the bathroom. Good price and I would stay here again

Check in was excellent with the lad working there who was a credit to himself in terms of problem solving and prioritising tasks.He did the work of two people. The room was bang on for what we needed. Plain but functional. There is a glass wall between the shower and the room which was opaque but may be an issue for the privacy of some people. Breakfast was a buffet style and was €16 per person. The quality was ok but €12 Would be a fairer price. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Laim S bahn station. Suited my purpose well. Would probably stay there again.

The hotel is modern and in a good location (currently laim station is closed for construction) with trams, buses and a station near by. What wasn’t good was the room. Absolutely boiling, it was in the sun all day, you can image it being like a green house. Other hotels would let you use the AC that you’ve paid for. I asked why it wasn’t working and was told it’s winter. It’s not winter it’s autumn and a very mild sunny autumn. I wasn’t allowed to change rooms either. Opening the window hardly made a difference and the road is so noisy you couldn’t sleep with it open. As paying customers all facilities should be available. I was also told the free bicycles weren’t available due to it being winter (autumn). These come across as cost cutting excuses.

The hotel itself was good, staff was friendly and helpful. There is not many options for dining near the hotel, so I mostly planned on eating in downtown. I had a pizza in the lobby cafe one night and it was surprisingly good considering it was a frozen one they cooked when ordered. The train station is an easy walk, the area looked safe, so there were not any concerns coming back later at night.
