Facilities are limited. Part of the interior on the first floor is open to view but blocked from entry.

Hotel renovations were nice. Some room furniture was either missing or broken (desk chair, desk legs). But I did not see the usual handyman/assistant at any time, so that could explain things. Third visit, pleasant and quiet, ample breakfast (just wish the coffee was drip, not instant from a machine).

Dirty Hotel - not recommended.

Room was not clean. We didn’t even get the room that we booked online. Sticky marks on tv stand and dirty plastic spoon under bed. Floor looked as if it had not been swept. In this double bed room, one of the comforters was stained. It appeared that possible renovation was going on in places. The breakfast was terrible! There was a live bug on the counter top area. TERRIBLE! Smelled ‘old’. At its current state, I would not recommend this hotel.

This is a very tired and old property that no one really cares about anymore. The paint is crumbling The Pool isn't totally empty as green water in it things are just ramshackle and uncaring.

Crap

I got to the hotel, and they said cable wasn't working. They didn't care. Then the sink backed up. Then the bed was in rough shape. The metal frame was out from under bed. And my girlfriend hit her leg on it and got hurt

The hotel was old and outdated. The door to my room had to be slammed just go get it shut. The bathroom floor was sticky and cover in hair. I pulled the covers down on the bed and the sheets were wrinkled from someone sleeping in them.

Run the other way

Where to start? The rust and mold? The worn carpet? The acrid smoke that came out of the heating/AC unit when we accidently turned on the heat? The soap puddle in the tub? The surly front desk clerk who charged us twice for the room then said she couldn't fix it? Blamed Hotels.com, even after a rep called to try to explain that hotels.come doesn't charge people's cards. One barely functional elevator? No coffee at "breakfast," which had two "egg" patties and one sausage patty for all the guests to share. When you think, "it doesn't have to be great, just clean and functional. We are only sleeping there, right?" Think again and run the other way.

Days Inn - Oil City... STAY AWAY!!!!

Stay Away... This hotel needs to be torn down and rebuilt... Arrived at location waited about 10 minutes to get serviced by the front desk. Every plant in the main lobby was dying and this was not a good sign of things to come. Once I got my keys went up to the rooms and in one of the rooms there was a guest in that room already sleeping. Went downstairs to exchange for another room got aother key and proceeded to go to the new assigned room and that room was also occupied... After screamng out of frustration some man in his underwear comes out of the room that was assigned to me and starts running down the stairs like he just killed someone. That was it and asked for a refund and moved to another hotel.

Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer waren dreckig, wir fanden Essensreste und ein Ohrring im Bett, der Kühlschrank hatte grosse Schimmelflecken! Der Boden im gesamten Hotel war total dreckig. Das Frühstück war unappetitlich und in den Rosinen befanden sich lauter Fliegen. Allgemein eine sehr schäbige und heruntergekommene Unterkunft.

A beautiful setting along the Allegheny River and the town is family oriented. The hotel’s roof was falling in above our room. The hotel’s bar and restaurant were permanently closed. It needs rebuilt on smaller scale!

We would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Non-smoking room, found cigarette ashes ina pile on floor. Smelled like smoke as most/all cleaning folks were seen outside smoking together. Owners working front counter were extremely rude and said if we had any issues to call Hotels.com to resolve room issues. Top comforter was dirty.

We attempted to cancel this reservation at the property when we saw the rain pouring through the front walkway. We felt unsafe when we walked around the property and asked the front staf to show us a room that was on the main floor facing our vehicle. These rooms could not be opened for us to see. We tried to call Expedia from the landline at the hotel but the number rang busy. The reservation was cancelled by the front desk staff and she gave us a confirmation print out of this cancellation. Now expedia is telling us that we stayed there!! We have called them and they are disputing our concerns. How disappointing. What poor support from Expedia when our concerns were about safety.

You get what you pay for!!!!!

Avoid this Comfort Inn. It's an old re-branded motel and poorly run by individuals who probably have no experience. I tried writing a list of all the things wrong but ran out of time. Most telling is the fact that the elevator certificate on display in the elevator expired nearly one month before my stay.

New management is refurbishing this older hotel. It is obvious they care about the business and are working to improve it. I had a pleasant stay at a very reasonable cost. I noticed a Police Officer park his personal car in the hotel lot, the station is across the street, so that should provide some bonus security. That is just an extra, this is a nice area.
