Restful stay in Marrackech.

Dar Loula is located on the edge of the old medina in MARRAKECH. The ancienct guest house impressed in its size and historical nature. The bathrom seemed ample but the room we had was too small for the amount of furnitrure they tried to place there. Heating and hot water servied use well. Breakfast was like the great majority we had in MOROCCO, extermely basic and lacking in variety. The staff were very responsive.

Super hyggeligt og autentisk lille hotel

Super hyggeligt lille og meget autentisk hotel med søde mennesker, fine værelser og lækker tagterrasse. Meget tæt på centrum, men stadig lidt væk fra det værste larm og jag. Det kan bestemt anbefales.

Authentic Moroccon Experience

Welcomed by staff with smiles and tea. They were above and beyond expectation as was our room. Hot water for showers, food to order if wanted, clean room, comfortable bed......there was a little noise but it is part of the city life and getting there was a bit dicey but once there easy to walk everywhere. Highly recommend!

An absolute delight

A charming traditional riad (house built around a courtyard) with just a handful of rooms, and lovely rooftop terrace, that is an absolute delight. It is on the edge of the old walled city (Medina) and two minutes walk to souks, and a few minutes to the main square, palaces etc. The hotel is clean and equisitely furnished. Our room was small but comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. Wi-fi signal was excellent in our room. There were a few power points that don't work, but still enough working ones for us to charge devices etc. We were greeted on arrival with refreshing mint tea and a warm welcome. We only had breakfast on one morning, which comprised breads, moroccan pancake (msemen), syrup and jam, juice, coffee or mint tea. The staff were welcoming, friendly, charming and helpful. The hotel is very cheap and offers excellent value for money. We stayed for three nights.

Riad with a good location

The place is walking distance from the tourist places like the Palaces and Sadiaan tomb. You can also reach the Jamaa El Fnaa by foot. Overall i would say that we enjoyed our stay here but the beds may need replacement as they are not comfortable.

Ce Riad est tellement paisible. C'était agréable d'y entrer après une journée de visite dans le bruit et la boucane des motos. Nourriture vraiment excellente. Personnel gentil!

Encanto peculiar como todo en Marrakech...

Aunque la zona es un poco oscura, es cerca de la plaza Jemaa El Fna. El riad tiene su encanto, es limpio, acogedor y fueron muy amables.

riad agréable

riad bien placé à proximité du centre historique de Marrakech, et de la place Jamaa El Fnah. Accueil correct, belle construction typique confortable et terrasse agréable sur le toit. Chambres propres, assez petites mais fonctionnelles. J'ai juste regretté de trouver un vieux savon sur le lavabo et pas de gel douche, j'aurais bien aimé avoir un savon neuf et du gel douche (des petits détails qu'on remarque). De même, le riad ne proposait pas de dîner. Petit déjeuner basique.

service très agréable

le riad Dar Loula est très charmant, il possède une terrasse très agréable. Les personnes faisant le service sont très gentil et à l'écoute. Le petit déjeuner et les repas sont copieux. J'ai eu la chance de gouter le couscous maison un délice!!! A environ 15 min de la place Jemaa el fna, ce riad est un delice de calme et de bonheur. La chambre que j'avais était très agréable et confortable dans un style orientale apaisant je recommande vivement de vivre l'experience de Marrakech dans ce riad!!!

We were greeted with a very dour welcome and when asked directions to the main square were given a map and the staff attempted to charge an exorbitant fee for it. Would stay some where closer with a pool next time and hope to have someone nicer on the front desk. The bathroom smelt like a barn and we had to shut the three glass window that look out into a mina square

Vi blir geleidet til et rom. vi pakker ut tingene. nede igjen ved resepsjonen etter a ha levert papirene om reservasjonen og pris. far vi beskjed at vi IKKE kan ha det tildelte rommet og vi bytter til et annet. Etter blir vi bedt om betale mer penger ca 40 prosent mer. vi betaler. Vi reiser med lite barn og det er umulig a bytte eller si nei. Positivt er frokosten. Den er sparsommelig, med kun det aller nodvendigste. Slik som te og kaffe. personalet er ok. behjelpelig med bagasje. hotellet er preget av en oriental inredning. lite atmosfere. Vel elegant og et fint og rolig sted for sove. Ingen mas om tips eller annet. litt vanskelig med rom prisen.

a little bit of heaven in Marrakesh

I have traveled a lot and this is the nicest and friendliest place I have ever stayed. complentary breakfast was tasty and filling. beds were like sleeping on a cloud. I would live there if I could
