We did not stay, despite booking nearly a year in advanced we were cancelled with only a few days to go. Had to pay a lot more for a late booking elsewhere. Despite this hotels.com insist on sending out satisfaction surveys. A bit of a wind up. No apologies and no compensation. A pretty poor show all round.
Not been psid. Owner has disappeared according to neighbors. Because Expedia has insufficient checks in placecwe were stranded in the country having paid off our taxi.
The staff are immediately welcoming and friendly. Service was excellent with nothing being too much trouble. For a fairly small pub the food was outstanding with an excellent menu. The accommodation was very clean with tea and coffee making facilities as well as bottled water. Good selection of toiletries in bathroom. We would not hesitate to stay again.
Very welcoming and pub owner was considerate with one of us having certain dietary requirements. Pub has a great atmosphere.

Previous tenants Double Booking
I did not stay at hotel due to previous tenants double booking - I stayed at a local B & B which was excellent - villagers rallied round to assist all affected.
