Four stars because this was a great location and suited us perfectly. The staff was very nice. This is an old school motor lodge and everything is old, but it was just fine and very inexpensive for the location. Would stay again.

It’s a motor lodge, so you are not expecting a hotel level property. The price was very good for the accommodations. There was something sticky in the rug, and the fixtures worked but need to have some attention, but all and all it was fine. Directly across from them fishing charter pier, so excellent location. We will stay again.

Saw a lot of bad reviews and was nervous, but it’s just an outdated spot. Perfect if you’re looking for a last minute stay. Staff was always nice and helpful.

I choose this hotel because it was across the street from the boat launch for the party boat we were going on. It's an old style motel with 2 entrances/exits that we could only use 1 of. The other was blocked offThe rooms were old, but ok. The bed killed my back and the bathroom had a sink like if you were in a gas station bathroom. We had an ajoining room with family, which was cool. The staff was friendly and accommodating . It does the job, but I wouldn't want to stay for more than 1-2 days. Definitely needs updating.

We have been staying at the Belmar Motor Lodge for years now and enjoy our stay every time. It's in a great location close to town, so easy access to local stores and restaurants! It has all the amenities you need and the pool is an added bonus too

Clean, friendly and functional. Facilities are a bit dated, but the hotel is well-run and safe. It ain't the Ritz, but it's a nice option that is more affordable than most hotels in the area.

It's a dated seaside motorlodge and the cheapest option in the area so keep that in mind. We had a good stay, the front desk guy was pleasant, the room was big and clean, the bed was pretty comfy, it was close to everything in Belmar and a quick trip to Asbury. This hotel served its purpose for us. It was nice that they had a 1pm check-in, the pool looked nice. I will likely stay here again.

The pool was amazing, clean and salt water! It made the perfect ending to a day at the beach. Convenient to town, short drive to the beach. Older facility yet the rooms are large and suited us. Bed could be more comfortable yet overall fur the price, we were satisfied plus!

The overall price was great. The hotel had a horrible smoke smell in halls. No coffer available at all and no counter space in bathroom. No tissues and also no amenities at all. I would say our stay was good but overall the rooms need to cater more to their customers

I had a great experience. The staff were friendly and happy to help with extra towels and pillows. This place is nothing fancy but it was comfortable and clean. Plenty of parking and plenty of walkable stores and restaurants. The pool was large and plenty of chairs for people. Very good location and all and all a good experience. I will return.

For the cost, it was perfectly fine. The front desk was very polite & helpful and the room was clearly cleaned well. There was a lingering smell of cigarettes throughout the hotel but staying in a non-smoking we didn’t smell anything in our room.

Very friendly staff. Nice area near the marina, plenty of restaurants, close to beach. Pool was nice, unlimited ice and coffee always works for me! The bathroom could use some minor refurbishments. Couldn't completely turn of the tub faucet. But other than that was a much better experience than I anticipated for the price
