"Our host Toni was wamr and friendly. The hotel is very well located. You can park there and it's a short and easy walk into the town centre. The hotel is very nicely furnished, with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. There was even some carrot cake in our room to welcome us! Excellent breakfast, too. We will definitely be coming back."

Dined in the restaurant in the evening and enjoyed an exquisite meal. "We had a wonderful experience at the Gainsborough Bath Spa hotel during a short visit to town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a couples massage during our stay and the spa in the hotel is top notch. The room was gorgeous with high ceilings and a nice separation of spaces. The nightly turndown service was unexpected and appreciated. We pretty much loved everything about this place!"

"This is a great hotel to stay in for a nice break in Bath. The location is perfect. When you leave the hotel door it’s a short walk in either direction to get you into the center of Bath. The staff are really polite and were helpful with suggestions on restaurants and things to do. Our room was superb. At the back of the hotel overlooking what I believe is part of the rugby ground. "A Hidden Gem of a Hotel. Staff Are All very Friendly and made us Feel very Welcome. Food is First Class. Grounds are very well Manicured. Excellent base for Visiting Bristol, but you will need a Car as Hotel is off the Beaten track."

"This is a very old property which has been sympathetically modernised. Spacious bedroom with lovely soft bedding. Good selections of tea, coffee and other drinks in the room.
