"The property is very conveniently located to allow great access to all the Cambridge sights. The room was lovely and well-appointed with teas, coffee and even hot chocolate. The property is beautiful and allows for great walks in their green space. The staff were definitely helpful though sometimes with a slightly detached attitude. That is the only criticism I would have. "

"A really excellent facility and perfect for a short stay! The room and en suite were very clean and equipped with everything I needed: coffee, tea, kettle etc. The only challenge were the two flights of very steep stairs up to the room. If I’d had more than a small hold all it would have been difficult to get up to and back down the stairs. Also with some mobility issues I did find the stairs worrying. Another point of frustration was that on a Monday night *nothing* is open for a meal at night...

"We felt that the room was not cleaned properly, we found hairs on the bedding and in the bathroom, more attention needed, the room was light and airy, basic provisions of fridge, shared bathroom although we didn’t see any other guests when we stayed."

"This is a quaint two bedroom property all on one floor with a well stocked kitchen and large bathroom & shower. Barry, the owner, is very helpful & friendly. I would thoroughly recommend it. "All fresh new rooms and spotlessly clean. Staff were super friendly & helpful. Breakfast it just a small affair but the world famous (if you're a motorbike nut) Super Sausage Cafe, is only 1/2 a mile up the road and is superb. The food in the hotel is otherwise excellent."

"This is an older motel, with friendly staff, clean sheets and towels and plenty of hot water. Free WiFi, easy to access on the southbound A1. They provide a self service continental style breakfast - bread, toasters, selection of jams/honey, plus cereals and juice. The rooms are a good size. "Excellent location for our day at Hatfield House. Only one drawback was that we had to enter our rooms via the fire escape which had 2 flights of metal stairs which was quite difficult in the rain carrying suitcases. Otherwise everything else was good. The staff were lovely and very professional."
