"Over all for the price the hotel was fine. There could be some simple improvements made. Don’t count on the fridges. We rented several rooms and none of them were very cold. One room has a clogged shower and the water didn’t drain. They gave us a new room. Also in the bathroom I could see what looked like black mold. Beds were clean and comfy and the pool was nice. Great staff. Nice location."

"Our stay at SOTA was nothing short of amazing. The drive to the retreat was not too out of reach, and made sense, as we were in the jungle of Puerto Morelos. We arrived a little later than expected, but greeted upon arrival at the gate by the staff. We were helped with our luggage to our stay, and we were stunned at every step! In our unit, there were fresh fruits waiting for us on the table. Our room was surrounded by glass looking out into the jungle, and every room had access to opening...

"Room was absolutely beautiful with picturesque views. Room was exactly as shown during booking. Property is very clean and quiet. Gali, Ramses and Adriana were always present to make sure my stay was comfortable. They were great to talk with and excellent resource to good food spots. I will definitely come back here."

However, the all-inclusive experience felt somewhat restricted due to the operating hours of the bars and restaurants. While there isn't any organized entertainment, you can certainly enjoy a great deal of peace and tranquility."

"Pleasantly surprised. This looks like a small motel, but is an apartment complex that rents out a few units. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom a separate from the kitchen dining room. Just a few blocks from the beach… and a great beach club. For a low budget trip, this place was just great. The staff did not speak any english but google translate helped to facilitate good communication. "

"The beach was disappointing at the time of the year we visited but that’s not the resorts fault. It was sargassum season. During our trip it was low season at the resort, so we got no lines on the bars/restaurants, which I guess can be different in high season. The entertainment was great. Lots of options of delicious food. And shows at night that we also enjoyed. Our family had a blast."

"Accommodations are very clean, great location, staff are very friendly and helpful. This Accommodation would be great for short term guests but falls very short on long term guests. I was booked for 7 weeks but was expected to go that long without fresh sheets and towels unless I was willing to pay for them. When I wanted to send my linens to Rush Laundry for much less than what they wanted to charge me, I was told that I couldn't send their property out...on the original booking it stated that...

"Property wasn't overly early busy which made for great and semi quiet pool days. However, obtaining reservations to eat before 8p was problematic. Additionally, in requesting celebratory cake and champagne it was never received despite coordinating twice. Properties are easy to walk but signage could be better."

"They sold the room knowing full well that the shower do not work in the entire building. I could not take a shower dor 2 days, third day I had to shower in another room at building next door. Hotel is pretty run down."
