This was my 2nd visit to this hotel and my 1st visit was absolutely amazing. I loved it so much I brought my family of 14ppl to enjoy a girls trip this past Memorial Day week. Unfortunately since it's low season only 2 restaurants are open at a time which means they cannot accommodate large groups. We struggled to get reservations every day and when we did it was always at 9pm. Which absolutely ruined the experience since the kitchens were closing by 10-10:30 so we were rushed every night to make our selections and rushed out. At one point, the concierge suggested they can accommodate by smaller groups in separate restaurants (so I guess we should have left half of our family members behind and eaten without them)

We have stayed at Ventus Ha in Puerto Morelos four years in a row because we truly love the service, food, amenities, and wonderful staff. Unfortunately, this year's experience was not up to the standard we have come to expect. Several restaurants and bars were closed during our stay, making the resort feel understaffed. The quality of the food and drinks also seemed to have declined compared to previous years, and restaurant reservations were very difficult to obtain. That said, the staff remained amazing, friendly, and attentive as always. They continue to be one of the resort's greatest strengths. We still enjoyed our vacation, but we hope management addresses these issues and restores the level of experience that made us return year after year.
