Service is impeccable. Friendly, prompt, courteous, and professional. Joshua in the evening dining makes dinner a true pleasure. Mauricio in guest services was wonderful, and Ismael at the pool turned a hot day into a literal day at the beach. Food is outstanding, the beach and pool cannot be beat, and the view from the beachside suite is exquisite. I highly recommend this resort!

Grand Residences was well beyond our expectations, and definitely deserving of their 9.6 rating! Food was delicious at every meal, service was impeccable, and everything was top-notch clean. It’s definitely on the more relaxing and quiet end of resorts… Pool and bars outdoors close around 5 PM, but indoor lobby bar open until 10 PM, with 24-hr room service still available. Live music several evenings was wonderful!

Should I start with the attempted robbery at the hotel by one of the workers or the fact that we had to practically beg for house keeping? I’ll tell it all. On our first day we checked in and dropped all of our belongings in our room. We locked our priceless items in the safe (passports, other security IDs, etc.). We then closed all the doors and went to dinner at the Mexican restaurant on premise. In the middle of my dinner I decided to go back to my room to retrieve my debit card so I can get cash for tips. To my surprise the doors to my room were left wide open but there were no cleaners. Why would we need cleaning after just setting in less than 1 hour ago? The most shocking surprise was that the safe that I locked was wide open. It seemed like the assailant must have been tipped off that I was coming and ran out without covering his tracks. I reported the incident to the front desk and everyone seemed not that shocked and unwilling to help. I was told there would be an investigation and I would be given an update. None of that ever happened. Moving on to another issue, I practically had to beg for house keeping. I called front seat 5 times within an 5 hour time frame. This is not the best spot and the 5 star rating and cost is overstated.
