"Everything was honestly fantastic until we were conned into their Premium Travel Club presentation and lied to about what it was. We were told we were being given a $1,000 gift card to return to their properties because the season was slow and business was down. They said we could sign up for a tour of the “Privilege” areas and after they showed us we get our gift card. This is not what occurred, it was a multi hour dragged on sales pitch for their “Travel Club”. Wasted our entire morning and then when we tried to simply walk out and leave, they told us if we didn’t stay, the lady who took us on the tour earlier would be in trouble. Walked out immediately and it ruined our day."

"Love this place if you’re not looking for luxury. It has value though. Was disappointed that I saw an ad that they still had free airport shuttles. That’s not the case anymore. Watch out for mosquitos while in the tree areas and avoid restaurant seating near the trees. Beach is clean and free of sargassum but not great to swim in. Love the adult pool in the select club. Highly recommend booking a snorkeling trip with Scuba Libre on the beach at Sandos. So much fun to swim with Maria the turtle in the wild. I’ve booked diving trips with them too in past visits. I only ate from the buffet as I was a solo traveler for a 4 day stay and love that the food changes somewhat day to day. Al a carte dining has been fantastic in the past too. I would also recommend spending a little more and booking the spa with hydrotherapy, massage and mini facial. My poor old dried up Canadian skin feels 20 years younger!"

"The service was excellent and the grounds cozy and marvelous. The villas are spacious and well equipped. The restaurants serve exquisite authentic meals as well as more common staples. The only thing that prevents me from awarding five stars is the location of the resort. It is nestled in between two larger and busier resorts. You can hear club music blasting until late in the evening. A lot of foot traffic on the small beach makes the experience feel less luxurious, less exclusive."
