Everyone at the resort was fantastic. The gentleman that represented epic for excursions was terrible. Gave us $100 off to go to Tulum unfortunately my wife got sick the day before couldn’t go so they took the credit back. Then we try to go to following day, but the weather was extremely windy and rainy and he tried to charge me for the full amount of the excursion. His ethics with dealing with customers is terrible and I would stay away from him in epic if you ever go to this resort, totally unprofessional. Besides that the resort staff, including Samuel were extremely accommodating and courteous. They’re the ones that made the trip a success.

The property was small. The staff was amazing and super helpful. If you’re going to just lounge around it’s great. The food was okay not what I expect when traveling to Mexico. I didn’t like that you couldn’t eat whenever you had to travel to the sister hotel more than I’d like to. Overall the staff made the place but I don’t think we will travel back. I actually left 3 days sooner and got another hotel.

Amazing a la carte all inclusive

Amazing hotel! It’s the sister hotel to the Fives beachfront hotel, and was bought recently. I think it’s a great place to go if you want an all inclusive but calmer vibe, we visited the sister hotel a few times for meals but much preferred our hotel! The food was excellent, the lunch menu was my favourite and the tasting menus are really good quality. 10/10 recommend!

What a great find can not fault it staff & service is excellent, location great, facilities perfect, rooms clean and comfy. And the main reason we selected the hotel was the a la carte and cocktails and they did not disappoint the food (especially the lunches) were superb as you’ll see from most of my photos. I even had time to relax and do a little sketch of the pool. It’s a little hotel which we wanted as not a big hotel person but if you want the sister hotel is a 5 minute walk along the beach or a shuttle service can be used. We went over to the sister hotel but it’s just the same old large hotel with usual foods on offer that don’t come close to the food at the beachfront. All the staff were fantastic but a special mention to Yvonne who kept us hydrated on the beach with water in the mornings and the mezcalitas in the afternoon. All the staff were great and I know I’ll miss some names but also thanks to Alex, Kevin, Gustavo, Saul, Eduardo, Omar, Jorge and many more…. Will defo recommend and we hope to be back next time we are in Mexico

This place is exquisite and only for people that appreciate exclusivity, excellent food quality and great service. Do NOT use the duster property as you will be very disappointed. Again I repeat if you like huge resorts with booming music and lots of people don’t come here. If you appreciate luxury and fine dining along with peace and tranquility you will love here. Only missing point would be additional music in the evenings. Bar staff and top shelf liquors are the best.

We opted for Beachfront in order to try something a little different from the larger hotels in the area. A summary is pretty easy: this place is excellent. The staff are wonderful and incredibly responsive (use the Whatsapp group they set up for you, it's perfect), in particular Lucas and Johana, you guys are great! If you want lots of people and lots of activities, go to the main Fives hotel next door, this is not the place for you! If you want quiet, and no difficulty finding comfortable loungers any time you want them on the private area of the beach or by the pool; premium drinks mixed to your needs; attentive and friendly staff; then come here. We had a couple of issues with the room but they were dealt with immediately. I heard some people talking about low hot water pressure so be aware of that. Others have talked about the setup - a shuttle to the main hotel for the restaurants and activities there should you want them (the restaurant at Beachfront does now cover all meals, but the Fives hotel restaurants give more options; we particularly liked Koh Thai and Brasserie but were glad to get back from the noise to our own quiet hotel!) and so on. The rooms here are not especially big, but since the aim isn't to be in them much of the day that was no issue to us, the room was ample. There is a public beach right next to Beachfront which has a barrier to the waves and is very pleasant - very little seaweed. Beautiful sand too. It's not perfect but I'd recommend it.

I had the most incredible stay at The Fives Beachfront! From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed and cared for, but what truly stood out was how the staff went above and beyond to make me feel special on my birthday. They surprised me in the most thoughtful ways, turning my day into a memory I’ll treasure forever. 💖 The property itself is stunning — beautifully designed with breathtaking beachfront views. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, with so much variety and attention to detail in every meal. The cocktails were a highlight, and I loved being able to indulge while enjoying the gorgeous setting. The service throughout my stay was exceptional. Every staff member I met was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure I had the best experience possible (special shoutout to Carlos and Cristina). The nightly entertainment brought so much energy and fun, and the spa was pure bliss — one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating treatments I’ve ever had. This resort has everything: beauty, amazing service, delicious dining, vibrant nightlife, and ultimate relaxation. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday getaway. My wife and I stayed here for a week. OMG!!! We absolutely loved this property and everything about it. We loved that it is a small property and it's adults only. We loved the calmness and quietness of the property. No kids running around, screaming and crying. Haha. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly, great to talk to, they remembered our names or came up to us to get to know us. The food and restuarant is top notch!! Everything is a la carte so you order off a menu. But you can get whatever you want and however much you want. The food at BeachFront is amazing!! Cleaning service came to our room twice a day to clean. Once in the later morning and again in the evening to prepare our bed and room to go to bed. That was awesome. The rooms are very comfortable, the bed was very comfy and we slept great. One huge advantage about the property is you get to enjoy the Fives family property next door. This property we went to for other restuarants and all the night time entertainment activities. Do the beach BBQ. The meat station was so good. So many meats to choose from and cooked to perfection. The only complaint about the Beachfront Hotel was there is no good beach right on front. It's all rock at the shore. You have to walk up to the other hotel and they have a small area there. However, many locals come to swim so they kind of take it over. Our stay at this hotel was absolutely AMAZING!! We are already planning our trip to come back.

I really love this resort! I was there for the first time last year and loved it so much I came back again this year as well. All the staff is amazing, I stayed at the Beachfront (which I really recommend - it's adults only) and Mercado, Kevin, Melky, Jazmine and Ricardo really made my stay memorable! I really recommend grabbing drinks at the Cantina 1910, the bartenders are awesome and make amazing drinks! Roberto was very nice and his attention to detail is impecable. I feel like this year they really improved on the activities they offered - they had a sushi making class, pilates everyday, meditation, a cocktail class, even a breath work and ice bath! Entertainment was very good overall. For the restaurants, the Koh Thai will always be my favourite, their Pad Thai is to die for! Anyways, I could go on and on about this resort but I think once you visit it, you'll fall in love with it, just like I did!

Such a friendly staff starting at the top and all the way to the groundskeepers. Food was excellent and they surprised my wife with a wonderful birthday cake and lighted Happy Birthday sign when we returned to our room. We will stay again!
