"The hotel is very clean and modern. Our room had a nice view. It's very close to the Aquashow. We were travelling as a group of 3, two adult friends and a ten-year-old child. The 3rd bed in our room was a flop-out chair bed, very unsuitable. This was replaced with a camp bed on wheels, which was, needless to say, also very uncomfortable and unsuitable for an adult. We were allowed to stay on site for the remainder of the day following check out. "

"Beautiful resort. Great food. Lots of options on things to do. Cleaning Staff forgot to stock our fridge with drinks and water at times. Had trouble the last few days getting reservations at restaurants due to there only being 2 open each night. Would recommend having someone available to cart people to their suites day and night as quite a hike uphill to a lot of suites. The restaurant Voce was wonderful for lunch. "Staff was attentive when needed. Very calm and relaxing. If your are looking for a slower pace, relaxation and good food, this is a nice place. Food is fairly expensive compared to the local town a 10 minute walk. A variety of restaurants are available and multiple tourist shops. Parking is horrible, so use service from the airport and the hotel has rental cars if needed, also a Tuk Tuk that transports to Carvoeiro if choosing not to walk the 10 minutes. Great stay. "

"Overall the hotel is average. Rooms are small and we could not walk around our room without ducking on the 4th floor due to the walls sloping inward. Additionally, the cable tv barely worked and the tv would go in and out. When you walk into the building we stayed in, you have to take a stairway up to the first floor to get on an elevator. "The hotel was in a convenient location opposite a bus stop at the top of the hill. Our room was spacious, very clean, and provided with all our needs. Good choice of breakfasts, and evening food if required. All the staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient. No parking, but we didn't need it anyway!"
