"This bnb is a gem in every way. The location in the historic district is perfect. You can walk everywhere. Car parking is very easy on the street. The bnb itself is stunning and comfortable. Our room was absolutely beautiful. The bathroom was like none other we have ever seen. The host was friendly and helpful, and her breakfast was remarkable! She couldn’t do enough to make sure that we had everything we needed or wanted. The property and backyard with a pool was beautiful! We highly recommend...

"We recently stayed at Quinta de la Rosa for three nights, having started our holiday in Porto. We took the train from Porto, which is a lovely way to enjoy the Douro Valley. On arrival we were able to get a taxi from outside the station and 10 minutes later were at the Quinta. Descriptions suggest this is not a hotel but rather a rustic retreat but it is carefully curated and standards are pretty high. Our suite overlooked the river and was very comfortable and quiet. "The hotel was lovely, the staff was so kind and the entire property smelled like orange blossoms from the trees next to the hotel. The provided breakfast buffet was so good and fresh and the staff also offered individual dishes as well as espressos! My only "complaint" would be that the location has very limited restaurants, like only 3 and 2 of them were closed on Mondays! Bring some snacks and you will love the hotel!"
