Beautiful, cosy but large resort. Had a great stay as the staff are super friendly and the facilities are great. The only thing that annoyed me was that they add a 7 NZD charge to each room service delivery! Besides that, a great stay and I would definitely go there again!

Great facilities in room and friendly host

The room was beautiful and very clean. The option of a little breakfast room where you could make your own breakfast was great and the staff were all lovely and helpful.

What a superb place this is. From customer friendly staff throughout to the smallest details. Everything is carefully thought about, delivered to the highways standards, mindful of the environmental impact each service may have. Sustainable, tasty food, recycled products, nothing wasted without compromise on quality of product or service. We highly recommend Gibbston Valley. 10/10 all round.

Easy to find, easy to park with plenty of spaces, friendly and efficient check-in, large, well equipped and well appointed room, clean, comfortable bed with good quality linens and towels, well located for restaurants and shops.

Very nice property and helpful staff at check in. The bed was very comfortable and the property was very clean. small issues, the toilet was constantly running and it would have been nice to have beer glasses.

The motel was a great place to stop for the night on our road trip through the south island. Very easy to find, quiet and immaculately clean. Would definitely stay again if we're in the area.

Great room with cooking facilities and some milk provided. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful in advising things to do in Akaroa and Christchurch (a where not to stay in Christchurch!)

Had a great stay at the Queenslander in Raglan. Everything was smooth, comfortable, and exactly as expected. The place was clean, well‑kept, and made for an easy, relaxing visit. Would happily stay again.

We stayed at the aspen court motel during a whistle stop tour of the west coast. I wish we had had time to stay here for longer. This motel was by far the best we have stayed in. Extremely clean, very comfortable and had a luxurious feel to it. Ours was very quiet and we instantly felt relaxed.

We stayed in the Rees for our last 2 nights in NZ, after a 3-week holiday touring the country, and enjoyed our time there. This was the only 5-star hotel we visited in during the holiday, and the lake view room was fantastic with good views from the balcony. Room and facilities was excellent, all staff (from reception to house keeping) very attentive and welcoming. The restaurant has received excellent reviews but I was surprised it was not larger or more lively. I think that many guests...
