"The service at this hotel was amazing! From the moment we arrived, everyone made our family feel VIP. Our room was clean and spacious and we enjoyed the room service after a full day of sightseeing. They even gave us tickets to the temple next door and that turned out to be one of the nicest places we visited this trip. Thank you for the wonderful stay. 5 stars!"

"Superb in all respects. Thermal springs absolutely a stand out. Service like no other. Y1900 for a coffee is a bit rich but it was excellent. Little noisy in street side rooms"

"Staff and service great! A little overpriced for the rooms and unless you can book the special rooms the pictures can be deceiving! We were definitely not wowed by our room! Onsens were okay but nothing to brag about! And you have to pay extra to use the onsens … dinner at restaurants was great quality but overpriced! The reviews all show it to be very luxurious but it’s just a normal hotel….staff was very helpful and accommodating but the area is quite boring! "

"There is no better place to stay in Kyoto. The location is SUPERB. The hotel is the most magical place. If all of that was not enough, Yuriko at the the concierge desk provides the most exceptional level of service I have ever encountered. Stay there just for the concierge services. Cannot say enough good things about this property, the entire staff is fantastic, but without a doubt, Yuriko takes the cake!"

"Very nice hotel! It was so clean and new, and was just great. It was very nice to have a kitchenette and washer/dryer. Also a pretty good location, 10 mins walk to popular gion area. Only complaint would be that there was no front desk staff, it was virtual, so when we put in a request for an extra pillow, it took 3 hours for them to respond only for them to say they couldn't give us an extra pillow."
