The room was huge, brand new and beautiful with incredible amenities, but the service sets apart the Kamo from other hotels. The staff repeatedly went beyond expectations.

Manager greeted us with champagne, delicious mochi in suite. Showed us around and offered to arrange our itinerary for next two days. Very clean very friendly. Design is something else. We booked same day and were greeted by manager who gave us a quick intro to suite and the neighbourhood. Very friendly staff. Asked for restaurant reservation for the evening and they set us up with a great fine dining Yakiniku place. Our rooms were amazing, all amenities high-class and hight tech from top to bottom. Complimentary minibar, and snack in the kitchen. 24h supermarket nearby, staff did some shopping for us. Panoramic views from the living room. Outstanding experience - so glad we came. Our compliments.

Swift check-in, super friendly staff showed us to our suite. Fantastic greeting with nice champagne and some local confectionary, fruit and mochi. We got a complimentary upgrade to executive river suite. Molto chic, very nicely furnished and unbelievable details, spotless clean. Beds perfect, tech like TVs and speakers high-end. Concierge service amazing, around the clock. We got one of the best high-end Kaiseki restaurants for dinner that night. Thank you and big ups!

Location is by the Kamo river delta. Lots of fine restaurants around which the concierge booked for us on short notice. Michelin one and two star dinners. Well done. Suite was amazingly quiet, top floor with superb views. Staff was consistently there for us and granted every wish. Full kitchen, microwave and washer dryer. Hopsitality staff took care of everything. Thank you very much.

Effortless stay in every way. Staff was on whatsapp 24h and granted us every wish. Fine dining reservations, shopping, tour guide, shinkansen tickets with QR code. Our suite had panoramic views over the river and higashiyama mountain ridges. Beautiful decoration, great taste. I stayed at the usual 5-star hotels all my life. This was truly the next level. Will come back with the board for company trip. Thank you to Rio and all the staff.

Kind service and beautiful atmosphere. Returning for the third time here. Has a homey feel and great dedication from staff. They booked restaurants, train tickets and transportation. Our suite was ultra clean and beautifully decorated. My wife appreciated the fresh flowers and complementary mochi and champagne. Rooms have google tech, voice control TVs, lights, and aircon. Nice touch. Washing machine in the room, staff was so kind to iron clothes. Luxurious getaway with beautiful view, great attention to detail.

Staying at Kamo Residences was an absolute pleasure. Check-in was quick, and the place itself is pure luxury—beautiful interiors, a fantastic layout, designer furniture (high-end, solid and comfy). The full kitchen, washer-dryer, and microwave made everything super convenient. Room cleaning 3 times per day, plus bed turnover while we were out for dinner. Beds are high, thick and comfortable, nice support. We asked for harder pillows, no problem. Sheets and bedding silky. Cleanest hotel I have seen - ever. Dinner was arranged by front-desk who set us up with a two star Michelin restaurant the same day, nice! The hotel arranged a great chauffeur and tour guide for us, taking us to Arashiyama and spending half a day exploring Gion (very friendly and knowledgable gent). Breakfast was custom-made for us—a Kyoto-style bento box, hot and fresh. We’re headed to Tokyo now but will be back for a four-day stay next week. Can’t wait to return. Thank you to Rio, Maru and all the other staff.
