"The host was very kind and helpful. The Barbican is located just outside the wall, which is brilliant, as inside the walls is quite noisy until very late. We would definitely stay here again!

"Amazing stay. Very quiet area, staff are very nice, served breakfast was great each morning. Very close to city center in York. About a 10 min walk through the beautiful neighborhood.

"Very historic property which is close to train station and all sites of interest. Overall great service. It should be noted that there is no AC nor elevator do to historic nature of property. Usually not a big deal as it is seldom "warm" in York and there are staff who will assist if one needs help with luggage. Bathroom was wonderful."
