"Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. "Location on the south side of city center. Quiet location and easy to access. Our room was clean and well set up. It had a refrigerator and coffee/tea station. Our only negative experience was the bathroom. No proper hooks for towels and just a half shield for the shower, resulting in water all over the floor. This is a safety issue as it is very easy to slip. The breakfast buffet was well set up with lots of tables and options to choose from. "
