It was our 5th Christmas staying there. Staff are great, rooms are great, location is great. Lovely 10min walk to town for food and shops. Can park mostly easily and only £15 for the day/night. Best tradition of ours at Christmas.

When we went in to our room, the Chocolate Orange, we noticed it was colder than the hallway. Nicky, the receptionist, showed us around the room, as told us to turn up the radiators. But that didn't work. So after 15mins, I went to the reception and asked if there were any other rooms available. Nicky showed us 2, and we decided on the Matchmaker. This room was excellent, very warm and spacious. colder than the hallway.

The guesthouse is stunning and has the most amazing decor. I only stayed one night so wasn’t able to explore all parts of it, but would love to visit again. The staff were pleasant and it is a relatively easy walk to the tourist hotspots.

Staff were friendly , polite and helpful. The property is situated about an 8-10 minute walk it felt safe and was a nice stroll. The rooms are exquisite, a lot of work has gone into making everywhere look effortlessly stylish Breakfast was delicious, beautiful ingredients and beautifully presented, nothing was too much trouble. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and will tell anyone with ears about how wonderful it is.
