"A 5 minutes walk from the Shambles makes this hotel a quiet haven away from the usual York crowds. The downside is it's a little further to walk from the railway station (20 minutes) but you can use the bus to make that journey The staff are super friendly and helpful. "Close to town able to walk to town. Walking distance to car park easy. Rooms great. Beds are low to the ground, though if your getting elderly may be a concern. Buffet breakfast was lovely. Nice feel to this place. Would highly recommend "
