"A nice little overnighter with friends at the Wheatsheaf. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had our evening meal at the Thai restaurant next door which was amazing. We did see some plates coming out before leaving and the food at the hotel looked good too. Our room (superior)was nicely done, lovely fluffy towels and a great size shower. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. My only reason for downgrading the amenities was because there was no lift. We would go back though"

"I want to first given my credits to my hosts Suzanne and Suzi. Suzanne started communicating with me via Whatsapp about my estimated arrival days before my actual arrival. She got everything prepared ahead of the game. Suzi was the lady who hosted me the evening of my arrival. She also gave me directions to the stadium, shop and public transportation. "Was a little worried when I booked but it was perfect for one night. Very clean, tea coffee facilities . No on suites but plenty of bathrooms and we had showers in our rooms, towels provided. Parking and the car park is gated, felt very safe . Would definitely stay again but of a gem. "

"This was a little hidden gem that we will definitely return to. It was a wonderful base and the shared facilities- bathrooms and kitchen, was perfect with little extras like snacks and hot drinks to help yourself to. It was a couple of minutes walk to bus stops, Lidl, convenience stores, Dominoes Pizza and take away. It was about 15 mins to the station and the start of the walk into town.
