"Beautiful property in the heart of Tuscany. We would have added a second night, but the property booked full while we were sleeping. Property was only recently added to Expedia, so don't let the low number of reviews make you nervous. We almost did. Glad we double checked another site and saw hundreds of happy reviews. Enjoy!"

"Pros: Comfortable, clean and spacious space. We really enjoyed the amenities and spaciousness of the apartment. The views were amazing and unobstructed. Calm and noise free. Cons: As it is a stand alone farm, there are no stores or restaurants close by. We had to drive every time we needed something. "

"We loved our time at Salvadonica! It was so peaceful and relaxing, a welcomed contrast from our busy and crowded stay in Rome. The restaurant is incredible and the hotel staff was extremely helpful! "

"This was our second visit to Castello Vicchiomaggio but the first overnight there. It's a beautiful historic property that is maintained impeccably. Our room was perfect in every way. We stayed in a junior suite. It was extremely spacious with a separate living room. The decor was very tasteful and the linens were luxurious. The bathroom was spacious with great water pressure. The bath products supplied smelled lovely. The food at the main castle, for breakfast, lunch and dinner, was excellent....

"Nous y allions pour la deuxième fois. Le lieu est toujours magique. On a peut être juste regrette un service un tout petit peu dépassé par la fréquentation de l’hôtel: plusieurs groupes à gérer, donc plus de monde et de bruit et une logistique au restaurant un peu plus chaotique."

"My mum and I did a girls trip here and we LOVED our stay! Just the kind of quite wind-down that we needed after the hustle and bustle of Venice and Florence. This hotel is GORGEOUS!! The food at the restraurant was superb and the pool divine on the hot Tuscan days! Easy to get to and a quick 30mins from Florence made it a wonderful choice. We both can't wait to be back!! Thank you for the beautiful stay!"

"This is a wonderful old place but…you MUST have a car! We did not have one but it’s very inconvenient and expensive to get one to come up to this area. Also - there is no dinner service on Sunday evenings - which was the day we stayed here. The staff was SO amazing and do make us a charcuterie plate - and they were wonderful. The rooms are sparse but very clean. "
