"We had a fantastic time at Live Aqua. The food and atmosphere are phenomenal. It’s the kind of resort that doesn’t have a lot of restaurants, but the food is great so made us not mind repeating. I highly recommend Hidden Garden and MB. The food at these two restaurants were fantastic. The pool and beach were always kept clean and all the staff were extremely friendly. We stayed a total of 8 days 7 nights and everything was fantastic from start to finish. I very much want to give the resort a 5 star review but opted to give 4 stars because of the attitude of the staff at the gift shop. Her name is Guadalupe. I was standing at the counter waiting to pay for a souvenir. I stood there for 5 minutes waiting for her to come cash me out because she was helping another customer. That’s not what bothered me. I don’t mind waiting. It was her attitude when she cashed me out. I opted to pay in pesos, and had some loose change on me. She rolled her eyes at me and my partner. I asked for our change of 100 pesos to be in two 50 pesos bills. My god. It was as if it was the end of the world. She started pouting, frowning and after we paid she didn’t say a word to us. Should be working at a 3 star hotel. We probably would’ve forgotten about it if it happened in the middle of our trip but unfortunately it happened right after we checked out as we’re waiting for our shuttle to the airport. So it left a bad taste in our mouths. Overall though it was still a fantastic trip. "

"Gorgeous property, pools were stunning. Heated pools open 7:00 AM-10:00 PM, multiple hot tubs that stayed open 24/7. Breakfast buffet was small but tons of fresh fruit and bakery and you could order stuff not on buffet but also included. Dinner food not great but tons of restaurants within 2 minutes walking. Drinks were good, staff amazing and friendly and our 1 BR suite was very nice and offered some separation from the kids at night. Overall great vacation and would stay again. Not all inclusive but not terrible bring a tumbler and buy a bottle from duty free on the way in! Drinks by pool were $9-$14 not terrible. Affordable lunch served poolside or right to your cabana on the beach."
