I wasn't sure about booking this hotel, as I'd never heard of it. However it was amazing. It is small but that actually adds to the experience. We usually prefer larger hotels but this was truly 5*. The Connaught was a lovely experience, of a true London traditional hotel. Couldn't fault our stay. Facilities great incl pool spa area. Location perfect for new bond st /mayfair area

Always enjoy the personal attention and comfort of this top class homely hotel with a proper lounge Only snag don't get a front facing room if you are easily disturbed and can avoid it as it can be very noisy on the street during night especially Tuesday night for bins emptying. We enjoyed our stay at the Haymarket Hotel so much last year that we returned again this year. The staff are amazing. Very friendly, helpful and highly professional. The decor is stunning. The hotel has a lovely light colourful ambience about it giving it a relaxing and refreshing atmosphere. The location is perfect for sightseeing, shows and dining out. But our favourite thing was going for a pre breakfast jog along the Mall, now that was really special.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean and opulent. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Glass of champagne on arrival which was delicious and special pastries and fruit to celebrate our anniversary. The only downside was the discretionary service charge which seemed rather steep on checking out.

Can't get a better location, near to Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Sq, Buckingham Palace...the hotel itself is immaculate, the double room was of a reasonable size, the bed so comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Shower was excellent, complimentary drinks on arrival and cookies and cranberry juice / water in the room. Downsides..not many, view was terrible and there was a slightly unusual smell in the room which you only really noticed first entering.

We were only here for 1 night but had a lovely stay and would highly recommend the hotel and would return if in the area again. It was close to the station and bus routes,shops restaurants etc. From the warm welcome from the gentleman at the door and efficient and personable reception staff,we found check in was quick and easy . The rooms were clean and well thought out,the towels fluffy and soft and the bed comfortable.

We stayed for the theatre. It was really great for location with everything within walking distance. Room was lovely and clean and shower hot. Good bar downstairs with comfortable seating to relax

We were put in the smallest and most claustrophobic room I have ever stayed in which was very disappointing. It had dark wood panelling and slopped walls and was overall very dark and dreary. The bathroom was nice but small. The over the top high techness was so annoying we were using our iPhone's light to go to the toilet in the middle of the night as we couldn't get the lights to work and the TV on an electric swivel constantly moved to face away from our bed. Quirky townhouse boutique hotel. Lovely staff and great location. Didn’t receive the VIP upgrade despite it being on booking and hotel showing availability. Didn’t ruin our stay though the previous guests underwear in the room was an unwelcome gift.

We had a wonderful stay in this quiet cul-de-sac boutique hotel. The hotel is beautifully designed and the common areas are wonderfully homey in a grand home kind of way. The service is outstanding, with a handwritten note welcoming you into the room. And we loved the library...Our only disappointment was how small the well-appointed room was - even for London standards -- definitely single file walking round the bed; the bathroom was nearly as big as the room and contained every comfort known...

My stay was excellent, I had spoken with Kitti a couple of times through E-Mail about a room decoration I wanted as I was celebrating a birthday, Kitti went above and beyond to organise everything and make the room look beautiful. The hotel is very elegant, the room was very clean and spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall my experience was excellent and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel is charming, elegant and comfortable in a wonderful setting. The restaurant service is excellent. A couple of small points. It would be an addition to one of the 3 lounges if a bar were installed to add further atmosphere particularly in the evening. I was not asked if I would like a news paper in the morning, which I subsequently learnt was included in the rate. The coffee in the morning breakfast was very weak. Would I return? definitely.
