"Great hotel but it clearly needs a refurb now. The rooms are nice but the decor a bit old fashioned and showing signs of a lot of wear and tear. The corridors and panelling are chipped and bashed and the pool area and sauna etc missing tiles. It’s in a great location and the rooms and bathrooms are a great size and the mattress really comfy. Staff are really helpful and the onsite bar and restaurant are really nice. As I say, just needs a refurb to bring it up to speed."

"The rooms had wooden floors which I really liked, felt clean and modern. The bathroom had a huge shower and was clean. It was in a great location, very close to the city hall where we were going for an event. My only issue was we went to the rooftop bar and the staff member who served us came across as very bored and not friendly which was a disappointment as everyone else seemed very friendly there."

"The room was very nice and clean, staff were helpful. The only annoying thing is there is no kettle or tea/coffee in the room and there was an additional charge for hot drinks at the reception for £1.95 which isn't that much but it soon mounts up. That's the only downside of the hotel."

"They take a £60 back up fee on arrival in case you do a bunk at the bar, but soften the hit with a free cookie. Hotel was fine though, gym small but has everything you need for a decent work out. Rooms were clean and very pleasant with fans provided as well as the air con. Easy location, especially if your watching a match/event at Bramall lane FC"

"Excellent all round. Parking easy, a decent amount of space despite us arriving late on a Friday evening. Staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming, and our room was really spacious with everything we needed. Very peaceful sleep, with quiet but effective air conditioning making for a comfortable night. Breakfast was superb, wide choice and pleasant surroundings."
