"Easy walking distance to Plymouth Train Station, and within walking distance of the waterfront area. Good towels/linens. Decent room size. One thing to keep in mind is that the rooms are NOT air conditioned and the windows barely open two inches. There is a ceiling fan and a small electric fan however. Wouldn’t want to be there during any kind of heat wave."

"Stayed here many times previously. Excellent stay again no issues. Little disappointed with the check in guy who stated I had been given a complimentary upgrade to an executive room. This was not the case and it was a standard room. Why lie? I’m not a novice traveller. Quite frankly I could not be bothered to complain . Smoking area outside the bar was in a terrible state! It was dirty disgusting with lots of rubbish inc broken bottles and glasses. Ashtrays were brimful and hadn’t been emptied for ages. Chris and all his colleagues at breakfast were fantastic. Totally professional helpful and in good vibes."

"Clean room, nice friendly staff. In the small single room the shower needs updated and water pressure. But way more importantly the pillow and mattress were the worst I have ever come across to the extent I considered sleeping on the floor. On a postive note the room is exceptionally clean."
