"Great host who was very helpful in finding sites of interest and good dining recommendations. Just not use to the challenging stair access to the third floor but was ok after a few trips up and down. Not sure why the area around the property is so messy, we had come from Budapest, Vienna, Bratislava, Berlin and Prague all of which were pristine in what would be a similar touristy neighbourhood. Maybe the city should review it’s cleaning practices. "

The location was perfect, it’s only a few minute walk to the red light district, and it’s right next to a metro and also very close to Amsterdam central station. The room was very clean, and it was kept clean throughout our entire trip. Overall I give this place 5 stars I would recommend the tulip to anyone who is looking to stay in Amsterdam. "

"There is no interest places nearby. The only good things are this apartment is close to train station and the room is very big and cheaper than other hotels in Amsterdam. If you plan to visit museums, red light district and spend most of the time in city center, I would recommend to choose hotels in Amsterdam Central. "
