"It would not take much to get 5 stars, but this stay was off season and service fell just short of perfect. We had dinner twice even though the menu was very limited. The second time, my wife's steak was requested rare and came overcooked. Replacement took 15 min which was very unpleasant arriving after having finished mine. This was not handled the way you expect from Relais & Chateaux. "

"Timmy was fantastic….after we booked on line with Expedia he called us within 5 minutes to confirm our arrival time and explain where to get picked up by the golf cart that drove us into the old city to the hotel. After he checked us in he ran our luggage up the 3 flights of stairs to the beautiful room. "Vorab möchte ich sagen, dass wir wegen meines Geburtstags nur ein verlängertes Wochenende dort waren. Das Hotel ist eher etwas altmodisch gehalten, was aber total zusammen passt. Die ganzen Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mein Geburtstag wurde wahrgenommen und man hat mir die ein oder andere Aufmerksamkeit zukommen lassen, wie zum Beispiel eine Sektflasche und ein Zimmer mit toller Aussicht. Die Bootsüberfahrt zur Insel und nach Rovinj klappt wunderbar und ist organisiert....

"This hotel is in a very good location right by the water front. The scene outside is a bit busy, but it was quiet after hours. The room we had was well furnished and the bathroom was clean and modern. Unfortunately we were in a top floor and the ceiling was sloped quite low over part of the room, so it was not as spacious or functional as we would have liked. The included breakfast was very good.
