"The hotel is a striking and unusual building, very handsome, though we would have appreciated better signs - the rooms in the 400s, which had to be accessed through the library, were difficult to find when first arriving. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the location of the hotel, near the seafront sights (the Mary Rose museum, Nelson's flagship Victory, etc) and the ferry ports. Everything clean and well maintained."

"the staff on the phone was most unhelpful when I asked where we were supposed to park as the hotel is on the road...we had to drive round 3 times with no directions until we happened upon an unobvious carpark......the staff were slow to greet us, only when I greeted them first ( as in hello on arrival and good morning at breakfast)...such a pity ...but the waited at dinner was brilliant (surname Morgan) funny and kind...."

"The hotel is just in front the Worthing Station, thus the name. Beach front is 25 mins walk, or hiking starting point is 30mins walk. We can deposit our luggage on check out day, and continue on our holiday around town and beach. Came back and claim our luggage and hop on the next train and travel back. Ease our travelling. The room is awesome, we stayed in Family Suites, big space enough for family. Semi-open room for bunk bed for children, enough space for them to play around. Ensuits with...

"Our stay at the property was a pleasant one. The beds and bathroom were clean but the carpet has noticeable dirt/stains in the room and the chairs in the common area were very dirty. The staff were exceptional and very helpful and kind. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices."

"Great traditional hotel perfect for a local running event. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely evening meal at the on site restaurant (recommend the passion fruit posset) and the hotel kindly let me have an early breakfast. Only a couple of minor issues with road noise and light coming in from the side of curtain but this is just an observation - I am a light sleeper - and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Recommend and I will be returning! Thank you!"

"Very friendly and helpful staff wether it be waitress receptionist or cleaner nothing was to much trouble. We had a family room which was spacious with comfortable beds and a roomy ensuite. We dined at the hotel every night and the meals were delicious, well cooked, plentiful and reasonably priced we had no complaints to make about anything. This was our second time of staying at this hotel and we would definitely stay again."
