"Nice surroundings but the villa is very cold in winter. We stayed a night in the winter. The villa was extremely cold. We called the front desk; a technician came to check and admit AC is not strong enough and would get a heater for us. But the heater never came and we had to call front desk again for a quilt. "The hotel was about an hour out of Hangzhou, so away from the buildings and traffic. Located in a small village, it was. 5 minute bus drive back to the lake, so pretty convenient. The room was small, and in need of some repairs. Bathroom also small. The front desk was very helpful, her English was excellent. Walking distance the Lingyin Temple precinct.
