"This is no doubt a gorgeous property, and with a great location right beside West Lake so perfect for people looking for idyllic strolls beside the lake or a jog in the morning in beautiful surrounds. The letdown however were the rooms - they were unfortunately slightly dated. Should the rooms be refreshed i would have no qualms choosing this hotel whenever I come to Hangzhou"

I noted in my booking that I wanted a non smoking room but they issued me a smoking room, however they were able to reassign me a non smoking room after my discovery. The bed and linens were clean and comfortable, the shower bathroom were great as well, but you could see that the carpet wasn’t as clean. The room was hot due to no in room controlled A/C. "The restaurant is very good the have specials and a set menu. The breakfast is very good they have a noodle bar at breakfast the menu is a mix of Chinese and western. There is a tea at one end of the hotel. "

"The only good thing was the shopping mall opposite. This is my first time in hz.. and if to choose again I will stay near hu bin harbour area with more shopping malls.. but a 2day 1night trip is enough for hz."
