It was an excellent stay overall. I loved that the hotel provided ReFa hair and body products, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was beautifully maintained. The only challenge was the laundry machine selecting “dry” didn’t actually dry the clothes and seemed to start another wash cycle instead. The staff were outstanding. They assisted with luggage storage and even arranged luggage delivery to my next hotel. I’d happily return and will be recommending this place to all my friends.

Best hotel I’ve stayed in Japan very clean and great staff, the room had good amount of space. Also has a washer/dryer in case you need it. Very great and Kyoto so far my favorite place to visit so beautiful!

Great staff, very clean room. I stayed at all Tokyu stays during my stays and the Kyoto one here was my favorite. The only thing is location, which isn’t too bad, about 10 minutes from Nishiki (if you’re into that) but definitely a bus/taxi away for Gion

Good hotel with excellent amenities. Sadly their luggage forwarding service is very poor as it is "self service'. The other Tokyu Stay in Nishi Shinjuku was much better as the staff arranged for it and all our hotels in Hakone aswell.

The room was great, comfy and clean. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Location was good with a relatively short walk or underground journey to many of the key sites. On site breakfast wasn’t great, i would recommend a visit to Fiveran bakery instead (just around the corner)

We loved the laundry in the room, especially with the baby. The staff were very accommodating and kind! The location is pretty much a 30 minute walk to everything and the Karasuma line it around the corner!!!

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Japan. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Karasuma Oike Station, making it easy to get around Kyoto and visit major attractions. There are plenty of convenience stores, restaurants, and cafés nearby. The room was very clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious by Japanese standards. One of the best features was the in-room washer/dryer, which was incredibly convenient during our trip. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was quiet at night, so we slept very well. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of Japanese and Western options. It was a great way to start each day before sightseeing. The staff were friendly, professional, and made both check-in and check-out quick and easy. Traveling with my son was much easier because of this hotel. The combination of comfort, location, and excellent facilities made our stay very enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kyoto and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Really nice hotel with excelent location, right behind a subway station. The staff provided enough documentation with explanation of the services including instructions for the washer (my room had a washer/dryer ) .
