I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel after reading some of the reviews. The rooms are small but it was like a cabin on a cruise ship - tight and efficient. Plenty of room for one person. The Onsen was amazing and a great breakfast.

The location is fantastic! Only 5-10 minutes away from Kyoto station and walking distance to most shopping centres and food courts. Good breakfast and Japanese bath is a bonus. The standard room size is very small, so make sure you book a larger room if space is an issue for you.

this was my third APA stay in Japan and second nicest of the three. the first one I stayed at barely had any room to move and this one is huge and a perfect little spot to sleep and decompress for the night. The Little cafe downstairs was really nice buffet style and quiet with lots of people from different countries visiting. There is 1 or 2 other hotels in the area and the staff at the other APA Hotel got me to the right place. great place to stay

Nice location since it was right next to a seven eleven and walking distance from the kyoto station. It’s also right near a bus stop and nice food places nearby.

The property was very conveniently located near the train station. The room was quiet and clean. The only issue is the dryers in the laundry take a very long time to dry a load (1.5 hours). Also the lack of a change machine in the laundry room (you have to go the the front desk to get change).

Very convenient for Kyoto station, about a 10 minute walk, just make sure you come out the correct exit - Google took us on a one hour tour of Kyoto. Very clean, friendly staff, small room but full of amenities

Clean hotel with great service. The rooms, like.in.most of the big cities in Japan, ware small. Good breakfast. Located bery close to the Kyoto Train Station so, it was easy to move around.

Close to Kyoto station. 7 eleven right next door. The rooms are not really soundproof, I could hear my neighbours laugh and cough, but at night was really quiet. Rooms are really small (it was not an issue for me) but the bed is super comfortable.

Made a right choice

Stay was amazing, high quality for good price. Location was 7-10 mins walk from Kyoto Station and bus station (amazing). When booking at APA make sure you know the exact address where to go for check-in as APA is a chain of hotels and find the right one can be tricky. You can leave your luggage with them after check-out with no extra charge. Overall stay at this hotel was exceptional in all means. The hotel has Money Exchange booth.
