This hotel is fantastic! A great location in Kyoto - walking distance to many sites and train/metro stations. The rooms are spacious, with all the conveniences one has in a hotel (e.g., front desk service, complimentary beverages, bath amenities) with the privacy of an AirB&B (e.g., room cleaning only when requested, washer/dryer in room, multiple seating areas and sinks). It is super clean and comfortable too. Highly recommended!

We loved how central this hotel was. Right in the heart of the Kyoto shopping district, steps away from the Nishiki market. We loved the sweet staff and our room was spacious and inexpensive! The smoking room was always clean and we loved the complimentary sake. Arigato Gozaimasu!

Highly recommend this place! Very happy we stayed here during our trip to Kyoto. The rooms are much more spacious than other hotels we stayed in. Location is conveniently located by Kawaramachi Station and walking distance to many shopping, Nishiki Market, and more. The washer/dryer in the unit was a plus. We also had luggage forwarding from Osaka to this hotel and the staff had it ready in our rooms. I also really appreciate how helpful the staff were with our inquiries. They’re all very kind. The hotel had some fun activities that kids could participate in during our summer stay. They’ve also got coffee/tea and complimentary sake that was available for guests. If we’re ever back in Kyoto, will be staying here again.

Loved how large the room was! Loved the in-room washing machine/dryer. The location was unbeatable - right in heart of several street markets and steps away from the train station. The only downside was that there was a smell coming from the washing machine - given it’s front loading, it needs to be left open after use, but I think it’s always left closed?

First experience with tokyu stay. Vloqn away by the cleanliness, design and space of the room and the price for what we got. Better than a 5 star hotel. Sound proofing was amazing. Even free drinks in the lobby. Washing machine was also a dryer and was clean as new and extremely quiet to run. Definitely would stay again
